Executive Vice President of Total Energy Company in the Middle East and Northeast Asia Region Visits China National Building Materials Corporation in Northeast Africa

On February 22nd, Mr. Ian Lepetit, Executive Vice President of Total Energy Company (hereinafter referred to as "Total") in the Middle East and Northeast Asia region, visited China National Building Materials International Central and Northeast Africa Company and was warmly received by the company's General Manager Li Weifeng and relevant business leaders. Both sides reviewed the achievements of current cooperation and conducted in-depth discussions on the future direction of cooperation, hoping to promote the sustainable development of cooperation business in the Middle East region and even globally through exploring new cooperation models.

At the exchange meeting, Ian pointed out that he is pleased to see the growth potential of cooperation between the two sides. In the first two months of this year, both sides completed the transaction volume for the entire year of last year. On this basis, Total will continue to strengthen cooperation with China National Building Materials in multiple fields such as cement plants, mines, oil fields, and new energy. Different support policies will be formulated for different types of customers. At the same time, cooperation can also be attempted in areas such as hydrogen energy, biodiesel, and bio aviation coal. Li Weifeng provided a detailed introduction to the business situation of the Central and Northeast Africa Company in the oil and gas sector, and proposed deepening cooperation between the two sides through various channels, such as establishing joint laboratories, launching joint brands, and entrusting talent training. In addition, he invited Mr. Ian to visit the domestic headquarters of China National Building Materials at an appropriate time and attend the 3rd New Energy Conference of China National Building Materials, scheduled to be held in Dubai at the end of October this year, to participate in a roundtable forum on the lubricant industry. The meeting was held in a friendly and friendly atmosphere, and both parties expressed their willingness to achieve long-term cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit, cooperate with each other in business expansion, leverage their respective strengths, and provide each other with the necessary support.
